FURIOSA KEY ART + WASTELAND TYPEFACE



TYPOGRAPHY, ILLUSTRATION, KEY ART
WASTELAND BLACK is a typeface inspired by George Miller’s “Mad Max” saga, named for the overarching setting of his series. The key art above features Anya Taylor-Joy as the eponymous character in the saga’s 2024 entry, FURIOSA.

WASTELAND BLACK was originally developed to caption this CONCEPT key art for “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” (2024). It was later expanded into a complete font of 26 lowercase letters, 10 digits, and symbols.
