VINAY BAKSHI is a 22-year-old illustrator and graphic designer based in Southern California. He earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Chapman University in 2025.
His work demonstrates an understanding of how different types of creatives—like filmmakers, musicians, and designers—collaborate. Notable work includes his intern and freelance experience with NBCUNIVERSAL in product and publishing design, and with END TO END SYSTEM in merchandise design for high profile artists.
VINAY’S signature illustrative style draws from the art and media he loves—music by THE WEEKND, the wild energy of RALPH STEADMAN, the layered darkness of DAVE MCKEAN, the cinematic worlds of the great DAVID LYNCH, along with the tactile artistry of physical media packaging. His work thrives in the space between chaos and clarity, driven by texture, gesture, and storytelling.
His portfolio spans creative direction, logo and lettering design, editorial, print, and packaging—each piece infused with his distinct visual language driven by illustration.
